ZULO is a personal food awareness application operated by Aveor Studios, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. ZULO helps users build awareness around their food habits through logging, gamification, and self-reflection tools.
ZULO is not a medical application, dietary program, or clinical service. It does not provide medical advice, nutritional guidance, or treatment for any condition. Nothing in the app including AI-generated content should be interpreted as a substitute for professional health advice.
By accessing or using ZULO you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, you have read and understood these terms, and you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance.
You must sign in using a valid Google account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:
Aveor Studios grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use ZULO for your personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these terms.
You may not:
You retain full ownership of content you create or upload in ZULO, including food logs, profile information, photos, AI queries, and feedback.
By using ZULO you grant Aveor Studios a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, display, and transmit your content solely as necessary to operate and improve the service. This licence ends when you delete your content or account.
You confirm that any content you upload does not violate any third party rights, applicable laws, or these terms.
ZULO offers paid subscription tiers: ZULO Core, ZULO Pulse, and ZULO Infinite. Each tier unlocks specific features as described in the app.
Billing channel. When you subscribe through the ZULO web app, billing is processed by Razorpay in Indian Rupees (INR). When you subscribe through the ZULO iOS app, billing is processed by Apple via the App Store. When you subscribe through the ZULO Android app, billing is processed by Google via Google Play. Native (iOS and Android) prices are set in your local currency by Apple and Google respectively, may differ from the INR price, and include any applicable platform-collected taxes.
Cadence. You can choose monthly or annual billing. Annual plans offer a discount over the equivalent monthly rate.
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You authorise the relevant payment processor (Razorpay, Apple, or Google) to charge your chosen payment method for each renewal at the then-current price. We will notify you in advance of any price change.
Cancellation. Web subscriptions can be cancelled in the app via Profile → Settings → Manage Subscription. iOS subscriptions are managed in your Apple ID Subscriptions settings. Android subscriptions are managed in your Google Play Subscriptions settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to paid features until that date.
Refunds. Web (Razorpay) refunds are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy. iOS and Android in-app purchase refunds are processed by Apple and Google respectively under their own policies; we will assist where possible but cannot override platform refund decisions.
Taxes. Web prices are inclusive of applicable Indian GST unless stated otherwise. Native prices include or exclude tax based on Apple's and Google's regional tax handling.
ZULO offers Coins, a digital in-app currency that can be purchased with INR via Razorpay and spent inside the app on individual features (streak freezes, extra skip slots, level unlocks, and other items listed in the app's Edge tab).
We reserve the right to revise Coin prices, item prices, and catalogues at any time. Existing unspent Coin balances are not affected by future price changes.
ZULO uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate weekly insights and answer user questions based on the user's own app activity. AI features are optional.
You agree not to use ZULO to:
ZULO is a personal awareness and habit-tracking tool. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent, or manage any medical condition including but not limited to eating disorders, diabetes, obesity, or any other physical or mental health condition.
If you have or suspect you may have a health condition that is affected by your eating habits, please consult a qualified healthcare professional before using ZULO or making any changes to your diet or lifestyle.
ZULO does not recommend, endorse, or facilitate extreme dietary restriction, fasting, or any behaviour that may be harmful to your health.
ZULO is an actively developed product. Features, tier inclusions, pricing, and coin catalogues may be added, modified, or removed at any time. Some features may be experimental or in beta. We do not guarantee the availability of any specific feature indefinitely. Material changes affecting an active paid subscription will be communicated in advance with at least 14 days' notice.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at our discretion, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have:
You may delete your account at any time from within the app via Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Upon deletion all your personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days. Active subscriptions are cancelled on account deletion.
The ZULO name, logo, app design, visual elements, copy, feature concepts, and underlying technology are owned by or licensed to Aveor Studios. All rights are reserved.
You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from any part of ZULO without our prior written consent. This includes but is not limited to screenshots used for commercial purposes, cloning the product concept, or using ZULO branding in any external communication.
ZULO integrates with third party services including Google and Apple (Sign-In and platform billing on Android and iOS respectively), Razorpay (web payments), RevenueCat (subscription management on native), Anthropic / Claude (AI insights), OpenAI (food image recognition), Supabase (backend), Cloudflare (infrastructure), Twilio Verify (phone OTP verification), Resend (email), and OneSignal (push notifications). Your use of these services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third party providers.
ZULO is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aveor Studios disclaims all warranties including but not limited to:
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Aveor Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use ZULO, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or any health-related outcomes.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these terms or your use of ZULO shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) INR 5,000.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aveor Studios and its team from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses including reasonable legal fees arising from your use of ZULO, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third party rights.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or your use of ZULO shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
Before initiating any legal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at [email protected]. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes within 30 days.
